I got this in the post this morning, isn’t it pretty? I haven’t got a clue what any of the writing says – I know it says something functional and banal but it’s good to look at!
I’m a sucker for interesting foreign things, and those stamps are great (who’s that chap? I should probably know that)
Anyway, the contents aren’t so exciting (except to me) – a new cd drive for my laptop. I broke the old one in an accidentally-pushing-the-button-when-putting-the-laptop-under-the-sofa debacle (snap! crunch!) and this is the shiny replacement.
I have carefully removed the tape from the edges because I might reuse it for something. I don’t know what yet, but isn’t that always the way?
Right, it’s my day off and I going to do some sewing if it kills me – the housework can wait for once (unless it starts to annoy me too much, in which case the sewing will wait…)
